Tier II: Students who have not passed all portions of their state assessment will be required to attend classes featuring small-group and one-on-one instruction. Please visit http://www.mesquiteisd.org/calendar/OFYPforParents.pdf for more information or speak with a campus counselor or registrar.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
• Compulsory attendance laws are in effect during Tier II and qualifying students must attend entire eight days.
• All graduation requirements for seniors must be completed at the end of Tier I to participate in graduation. A summer graduation ceremony will be held for seniors completing graduation requirements during Tier II and Tier III.
• While Tier II will be required for students not passing their state assessment, eligibility to participate and receive educational enrichment is open to all students who are currently enrolled in school.
